The Blog of Ruby Applecake

Due to my dislike for Blogger and my love of WordPress, all Ruby related stories will appear at rubyapplegate.co.uk.

Last night was Rachael's Spring Hafla with Boomshanka Tribal Bellydance, an exciting event where the Boom ladies put on a show for anyone and everyone, cooking up fantastic treats, live drumming and an overall great party. Ruby and Daddy went along for a few hours last night, staying until it was Rachael and the Troupe's turn to dance.

We watched Rachael and co put on a wonderful performance, Ruby and I obviously stunned at Rachael's style, power and elegance and then went home content.

This morning, Ruby said to us - "you know what Daddy Mummy? Last night when Mummy was jumping, I was scared. I thought Mummy was going to fly away and not come back!"


How cute is that?

Poor little bean. Ruby dislocated her elbow yesterday, an unfortunate accident with mammy and nana and in Ruby's words, "it was nobody's fault".

Brave little soldier though despite a 3.5 hour wait at the Children's Ward before it was popped back into place.

She now uses the word "dislocated" wherever possible. Here she is suffering in the steaming hot waiting room.

We have been SO busy of late that this little blog has been utterly neglected.

Working on my personal site, Rachael's free vintage knitting patterns website and doing generally busy stuff at work.

Dash & Oli were up this weekend to see the mighty Swansea Swans take on Sheffield UTD at Bramall Lane. They couldnt have hoped for a 0-3 victory!
