the weekend just gone

lots of fun this weekend; a 3rd birthday party with our American friends Daniel, Jeanie and Maddy...nice to see Ruby playing with lots of squidlings again. Also, on Sunday we did lots and lots of gardening! Ruby pretended to by Fifi Flowerpot and drowned various plants and flowers; whilst Rach and I debated whether to put one carrot seed or 10 in each hole in the soil. All of this and a 3 hour epic trip to B&Q as well and the cafe was horrible!

Sharrow Lantern Festival

This was on Monday night - amazing festival every year where people walk the streets at dusk with lanterns they have made! This years theme was nature, I think, and Ruby was out until 9pm, and loved every second. Especially the moon!

Easter Weekend

4 days off and the dissertation is over; thanks to Gaggy George and Nana Jean we all had a very relaxing weekend!
Friday = trip to Castleton to revisit after last time's disastrous bout of sickness!

Saturday invloved a lovely trip to Fulwood, the other part of Endcliffe park for a change, Ruby drove a tractor, daddy defied gravity and everybody else ate ice cream.
